In 1895 Alphonse Méry of Marseille purchased a Panhard et Levassor and a Peugeot. His more youthful brother Simon Méry and his brother in regulation Léon Turcat, each engineers, made up our minds to toughen on each fashions with their very own design, a 2.6-litre, four-cylinder, five-speed automobile with electrical ignition, radiators at every finish of the engine and two speeds in opposite.
