How To Unlock These 3 Dungeons In Last Epoch Harbingers Of Ruin? – Locations, Access Methods, And Levels

Dungeons in Last Epoch are one of three core endgame activities, and each activity has very valuable rewards. There are currently three dungeons in patch 1.0: Lightless Arbor, Soulfire Bastion, and Temporal Sanctum. Each dungeon has four difficulty levels, and its own unique mechanics and rewards.

Last Epoch Harbingers Of Ruin is the patch 1.1, which will be officially released on July 10th. It may add some unique dungeons, which is also very exciting for players. This guide will detail the location of each dungeon and its level.

Dungeon Locations

If you have not explored a dungeon before, you will need to find the entrance manually. After you have explored one dungeon, you can fast travel to it. Each dungeon has an entrance that can be entered from the campaign area. Similarly, dungeons can also lead to the campaign area, which can be used to skip most of the repetitive things in Last Epoch campaign.

However, it is important to note that dungeons are much more difficult than campaign zones of the same level. If you have already made some powerful items with Last Epoch Gold for sale, you can skip the campaign from the dungeons. Here are the locations of each dungeon.

Lightless Arbor

Lightless Arbor is located between Council Chambers and Cultist Camp in Welryn region of Ruined Era. You can find a path leading to the dungeon by walking north from Surface area waypoint.

Exiting Lightless Arbor will lead you to Corrupted Lake, where you can use Time Rift to jump directly to Risen Lake in Imperial Era.

In the patch notes, we know that the lighting problem in Lightless Arbor has been fixed to ensure that local players always get the expected good lighting. In addition, the problem that the rock in Mountain Beneath fight in Lightless Arbor did not correctly display the indicator before falling has been fixed. All of these will make your gaming experience better!

Soulfire Bastion

Soulfire Bastion is located between Welryn and Theitma regions of Imperial Era. If you can’t find the two landmarks, you can look for it north of Risen Lake.

You can find this dungeon by walking east from Risen Lake waypoint to Ruins of Etendell, then walking north. The exit of Soulfire Bastion leads to Kolheim Pass in Heoborea region of Divine Era.

Temporal Sanctum

Temporal Sanctum is in Ruined Coast region of Ruined Era, far away from the other Ruined Era zones, so be sure not to confuse them. You need to go to Shining Cove in Imperial Era, then head east to find Time Rift, which will take you directly to Ruined Coast.

The exit of Temporal Sanctum will take you to Radiant Dunes in Divine Era of Maj’Elka.

In addition to the changes in Lightless Arbor, the developers have also fixed a bug in other dungeons where doors in the dungeon were not resetting correctly, and a bug in Online mode where Dungeon objective pulses were not displayed based on the number of kills.

Entering Dungeon

Each dungeon requires a unique key to enter, which is consumed only when you use it. If you die in a dungeon, you fail the quest and respawn at End of Time, where you will need another key to continue questing.

Dungeon keys can be found in any area with a higher difficulty level than the dungeon’s lowest difficulty level and are often dropped by Monolith Timeline bosses. So, in order to clear Timelines quickly and ensure uninterrupted exploration, the best way to obtain a lot of keys is.

However, the key to Lightless Arbor is special, and can only be dropped in Vaults of Uncertain Fate at the end of Lightless Arbor. This also makes Lightless Arbor the only dungeon that can drop its own key, so it is theoretically possible to run Lightless Arbor continuously indefinitely.

Dungeon Tiers And Area Levels

Each dungeon in the previous era has four difficulty levels. Higher-level areas have higher levels, and challenge modifiers rotate daily. However, higher levels also have more rewards, including Last Epoch Gold and some boss-unique items.

As mentioned above, each dungeon has 4 difficulty levels. Higher-level dungeons mean higher levels of areas, and challenging modifiers rotate daily.

As with other games with dungeons, you can get more rewards in higher-level dungeons, and even some boss-exclusive items can only drop at higher levels. For example, in Temporal Sanctum, higher levels also allow you to place high-level unique items in Eternity Cache that you get with Last Epoch Gold.

If you want to see the final boss of each of the three dungeons, you need to go through the two main floors first. And each floor has two exit doors, each of which adds a modifier similar to the difficulty tier modifiers. These door modifiers can cause fatal damage to you, but they also increase your rewards, which is a “double-edged sword”.

So, before moving on, carefully observe each door modifier, and if the modifier of the door proves to be a bit difficult for your current build, you can switch to another door.

After learning the details of the current patch of the dungeon, are you looking forward to the dungeon in Last Epoch Harbingers Of Ruin, which will officially start on July 10? I hope you can have fun exploring in the new patch!
